The Dahira was created in 2001 with a small group of people under the name of Dahira Taissirul Hassir given by Serigne Saliou M'backe ( RA ). Now it counts about 300 members living in Detroit and suburbs with the name of Foundation Khadimu Rassul of Michigan registered at the Federal level with a 501C3 non profit status

Our mission is to support the social and economic empowerment of low and moderate incomes populations, to promote youth and adult education,to provide social, economic and technical assistance, to provide health care assistance, to facilitate the usage of new information technologies, to alleviate hunger and poverty, to promote and facilitate communications among populations, to develop and promote professional training, and cultural activities and to develop and promote the entrepreneurship initiatives.
